Jonathan Valley School has been notified about a 10% water reduction by the Maggie Valley Sanitary District. In order to assist with water conservation in Maggie Valley, Jonathan Valley Elementary School will begin serving school meals on paper products. This should produce the 10% reduction desired by the town. If this change does not accomplish the desired reduction, we will make other appropriate reductions.
“The town of Maggie Valley is a great community partner with our school” said Heather Hollingsworth, principal of Jonathan Valley Elementary School. “They support us in so many ways. We are happy to assist in the water reduction and will do what we need to do to support the town.”
