On Friday March 3rd, Tuscola’s Drafting and Computer Engineering students competed in SkillsUSA Regionals where they took top honors. In the event of “Information Technology Services,” Tuscola swept the field in the following: Tanner L. – 5th, Christopher S. – 4th, Danny S. – 3rd, Cody C. -2nd, and Josh P. – 1st. Cody, senior at Tuscola, said “I had a great time and would encourage the underclassmen to go next year”.  In the “Drafting 1” competition, Tuscola also excelled with Walker B. – 3rd and Keaton B. – 1st. In the “Related Technical Math” event, Tuscola placed 1st and 2nd with  Tanner S. – 2nd and Blake H. – 1st. Blake, a junior at Tuscola, said “It was a good opportunity and I plan to go back next year”.  The “Cabling” event was equally successful with the following placements: Stirling T. – 3rd, Dillon Q. – 2nd, and Sabe R. – 1st.
