It looks like we have turned the corner on below freezing temperatures.  Most forecast models show us above freezing the vast majority of the time between now and early next week.  That is the change many of us have been waiting to see.

We will send our road-check crew out at 3:00 p.m. today and try to make a decision for tomorrow by 6:00 p.m.  While it still may not be possible to have school, we want to remind our high school students that we can still finish the semester before the break.  So, we encourage our high school students to pause from work and play to review what you have already learned this semester.

As we move forward from this winter storm, the primary factors impacting the school schedule are the amount of roadway melting and the level of restored electrical service.

We ask for your patience and understanding as we reschedule or cancel activities disrupted by this significant winter storm.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who kept us informed and worked to get us up and running again.  You are the best!
