Inclement winter weather is possible in the early morning hours of Monday, March 4, 2019 as moisture leaves the area and temperatures drop below freezing.  The weather forecasts are inconsistent ranging from no winter weather to a small amount of measurable snow possible between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m.

We expect below freezing temperatures until noon and below freezing wind-chills most of the day on Monday.  The primary question is, Will the precipitation move out before the cold air moves in?

Our “morning crew” will begin checking roads at 3:30 a.m.  If an announcement is necessary, we will make it at approximately 5:45 a.m.  If there is no announcement, schools will operate on a regular schedule.

Please monitor the school system website or your favorite media outlet for potential announcements.  Thank you for your patience as we monitor this impending weather situation.
