Several weather models indicate rain on Monday changing to mixed precipitation or snow by Monday evening or Tuesday morning.  With predicted low temperatures in the 20s on Tuesday morning, there is a possibility winter weather could impact school schedules.  If school is closed due to winter weather on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 or subsequent days during the week, these days will be designated as Remote Learning Days.

Remote Learning Days will be designated on closed winter weather days when we provide students, staff, and parents with prior notice.  Weather-related Remote Learning Days will be Optional Workdays for school employees.  These days will operate with front-loaded learning like the previous Remote Learning Days on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday, November 3rd.

The Morning Crew will monitor the pending weather.  Please get a good night’s sleep on Monday night and prepare for school on Tuesday.  If the weather develops as expected, we will make an appropriate announcement by 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning.  If in doubt, please check multiple sources (HCS website, HCS social media, media outlets, and rapid notification messaging).
