Haywood County Schools is pleased to announce that Brian Wyatt has been named the new
Director of Instructional Technology, effective December 1, 2025. He will step into this role
following the retirement of longtime Director Kim Jackson.
Mr. Wyatt has been a dedicated member of Haywood County Schools for 21 years, beginning his
career as an installer before moving into his current position as Network Administrator.
Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role in maintaining and advancing the district’s
technology infrastructure, ensuring that students and staff have access to reliable and innovative
tools for learning.
As Director of Instructional Technology, Mr. Wyatt will oversee the integration of technology
across classrooms, professional development for staff, and the continued implementation of
digital learning initiatives designed to enhance student success.
Haywood County Schools extends its gratitude to Kim Jackson for her many years of dedicated
leadership and congratulates Brian Wyatt as he begins this new chapter in service to the
students, staff, and community.
