Haywood County Schools would like to welcome you to the North Carolina School Report Card site. The site provides valuable information about our schools and how our system compares to others across the state. The Report Card serves as a comprehensive resource for school performance, school discipline, high school graduation rates, and digital learning devices. You will also find data for class sizes, attendance, school safety and teacher quality.
The newly released 2023-24 data shows that Haywood County Schools is ranked 6th among 115 school systems in academic performance. This is the highest academic performance ranking in school system history.
Among 14 counties in the Western Region of NC, Haywood is proud to have the highest performing traditional high schools, Pisgah High and Tuscola High (9-12); one of the highest performing early colleges, Haywood Early College (9-13); the highest performing middle school, Bethel Middle (6-8); and the highest performing elementary school, Riverbend Elementary (K-5).
