Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) is the process by which a student may earn credit for a high school course by demonstrating a deep understanding of the content; without course enrollment or seat time. CDM was designed to respond to the needs of students, families, AIG community, school personnel and leadership.
Assessments for Credit by Demonstrating Mastery will be administered in September and February. Exemption exams taken in September will impact courses for Spring semester. Exams taken in February will impact courses for the following year. Applications and more details may be obtained from your middle school or high school counselor. Application deadline for the September – December administration is September 10. The deadline for the March/May administration is February 20.
