Monday, October 1st is schedule as a teacher workday for Haywood County Schools. Over 60 concurrent sessions will be provided to help teachers and other staff members improve knowledge and skills. The overall goal is to improve the quality of instruction and services offered through the district’s 16 schools. Many local restaurants and food merchants should expect increased lunch traffic between the three-hour morning and afternoon sessions.
