Students from Tuscola High School’s STACK team recently visited WMS’s 7th grade STEM and AIG classes taught by Amanda Wells and Wanda Burns. The high school students, led by Mr. Jim Davis, taught the WMS students about chemical and physical reactions. The demonstrations that they presented left the students awestruck. The STACK team showed how antacid works to neutralize stomach acid, how to change the color of pennies by using heat and different chemicals, and how exothermic reactions release heat with the “elephant toothpaste” demonstration.

Thank you to Tuscola’s STACK team for reminding WMS Students that learning science is cool and fun!
