Another untimely winter weather event is expected in the early morning hours of Friday, December 13, 2019.  We expect rain tonight, mixing with freezing rain or sleet in the early morning hours, and changing back to all rain after day-break.

As we know, our mountain weather can be very unpredictable.  A preliminary view indicates this will likely be one of those eastern escarpment impact situations in which cold air dams up against the mountain ridge causing a greater likelihood of freezing rain or sleet on the eastern edge of the county and into areas east and south.

Please get a good night’s sleep and be prepared for school on Friday.  The Morning Crew will be out early.  We will let you know if a schedule change is needed.
