As a reminder, there is a chance of frozen precipitation late Wednesday into Thursday morning (January 28th). Any weather-related closed school days this week, will be designated as Remote Learning Optional Workdays. Schools are asked to share information as appropriate with students and parents.
If school is closed on Thursday because of inclement weather travel conditions, the Remote Learning Optional Workday scheduled for Friday will be moved to Thursday. If that occurs, Friday will be a regular school day, a two-hour delay or another Remote Learning Optional Workday depending on weather-related travel conditions.
The Morning Crew will monitor inclement weather situations. If any announcements are necessary, they will be made no later than 5:45 a.m. on the impacted school day. Any announcements will be made through our rapid notification system. If in doubt, please check multiple sources (HCS website, HCS social media, and local media outlets).
