On Monday, March 11, 2024 the HCS Board of Education waived the inclement weather days used on January 9, 2024 and January 19, 2024. By this approval, the last student day for Haywood County Schools is now Friday, May 31, 2024. Should additional inclement weather occur, a Remote Learning Optional Workday will be used and the last student day will remain May 31, 2024. The last day for HCS ten-month employees remains Monday, June 10, 2024.

The last student day for Haywood Early College is now Friday, May 17, 2024.
The last day for HEC ten-month employees remains Monday, June 3, 2024.
